DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPY and DIGITAL IMAGING SYSTEM
Dr. Ishida uses a high resolution digital camera for taking all extra-oral and intra-oral photographs, so you can see what we see in your mouth. In conjunction with the digital photographs, we use a Digital Imaging System that will give you a preview of what your smile can look like prior to working on any teeth. It also will give you before and after photos of your ‘smile makeover’.

LASER DENTISTRY
The Aurora Diode Laser System is a soft tissue laser that may be used for a variety of surgical procedures of the oral cavity. As an alternative, it is used for NON-SURGICAL treatment of gum disease. In cases with mild to moderate gum disease, the diode laser is a high tech instrument for periodontal treatment that is less painful post operatively and accelerates the healing process.

PAINLESS COMPUTERIZED ANESTHETIC DELIVERY SYSTEM
The ‘WAND’ is a unique Computer Controlled Local Anesthesia Delivery System. The WAND is the first major advance in local anesthesia delivery since the syringe was invented more than 150 years ago. The WAND handpiece does not look like a syringe, so patients are at ease right from the start. In clinical trials, patients reported little to no apprehension at initiation of the procedure. And they reported minimal awareness as the injection was administered. It is a non-threatening, easier injection for all our patients. Many patients are surprised at the painless delivery of the anesthetic. A common reaction is “I can’t believe it. There was NO PAIN”. POINT OF SOURCE STERILIZED WATER SYSTEM
Our dental delivery systems are equipped with a “point of source sterile water system” that supplies pure fresh water and does not come from the municipal water system. It’s another way of providing safe clean water for every patient.
